LJM Housing Project Mngr

Love and Joy Ministries Group runs a number of projects, including supported housing for young care leavers, alternative education, work based learning for young people and adults, and a range of exciting Urban Arts programmes.

We wish to appoint an experienced, highly motivated and dynamic Project Manager, who would ideally be a practicing Christian, to lead and manage a range of supported housing initiatives, providing dynamic and effective leadership to the staff team, and to drive the expansion and integration of our housing with other youth services we provide.

With a Minimum NVQ Level 4 / degree in relevant subject, you will have experience in residential work or housing sector in a significant management role, and have a heart for vulnerable young people. You will be expected to manage project contract, resources, premises, partnership relationships, finance & fundraising, programme evaluation and work closely with local Councils.

You will:
- Be expected to take a strategic approach in running the project to ensure sustainability
- Keep abreast of relevant government initiatives and feed back to the SMT and Management Committee
- Take a key role in the production of the development plan in line with the organisation’s strategic objectives and local government strategic direction.
- Have good financial and people’s skills
- Have some experience of running and delivering outcome-driven projects and programmes
- Be self motivated, high level of initiative
- Have excellent report-writing skills and other communication skills
- Be practical, able to get hands dirty when needed
- Be flexible and able to work unsocial hours as required from time to time

Salary: £24,331 - £26,276  (NJC SO1 point 29-31)
